2015年两会期间，李克强总理提出“互联网+”的概念，一时间“互联网+”成为热门话题，也让移动医疗再度掀起了热潮。云计算、大数据、移动互联及物联网等新技术为移动医疗开拓了广阔的发展空间，通过远程医疗、可穿戴便携式设备等方式进行医疗服务的互联网医疗产业逐渐壮大，医疗机构、移动运营商、医疗设备制造商、终端厂商、软件方案商等也借助互联网参与到医疗模式的改革创新当中。
“互联网+医疗”成为了医疗发展方向上的一个里程碑。
